The home of the big blog project! 15 (or so) students enrolled in Gender and Popular Culture (Women's and Gender Studies) at The College of New Jersey blogging on topics including gender, race, class, sexuality, etc, in relation to different aspects of pop culture. From the BBC!BBC correspondent Alan Johnston has been freed from kidnappers in Gaza after almost four months in captivity. Television pictures showed Mr Johnston, 45, leaving a building and entering a white car, accompanied by armed men. He said he was tired but in good health.
